List of Hunts for the February 23, 2008 Banquet
for the Triangle Chapter Of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation
Below is a list of trips and hunts that will be auctioned at our banquet.
This may not be a complete list as more may come in. Looking forward to seeing
you in February.
1. A 6-day Moose – Bear Hunt with Rock Camp Outfitters in Newfoundland
Canada, fully guided for Fall 2008 seasons for two hunters. All accommodations
during hunt included. Must purchase license.
2. A 6-day Rifle Wyoming Elk Hunt Big Piney Wyoming, 2009 seasons, or until
license is drawn for one (1) person. Full accommodations included. Can be upgraded
to include antelope. Must apply for license
3. Washington State Elk- Mule Deer – Bear Black Powder Hunt, with Running
Wolf Outfitters near Spokane for one (1) person, October, 2008. Fully guided
and full accommodations. Will meet at Spokane Airport. License available upon
arrival. A horseback – back country hunt.
4. North Carolina Swan Hunt in Hyde County for two hunters, 2008, or until permit
drawn. Donated by Lane Swindell – Carolina Habitat
5. Canada Black Bear Hunt in New Brunswick, Canada, 5 day hunt for two, spring
of 2008. Fredericton NB Airport. Fully guided, food and lodging included.
6. Teton Wilderness Wagon Train Trip for 2 people for 4 days and 3 nights in
the Teton or Jim Bridger Wilderness in Wyoming for June, July or August 2008.
Outfitter will meet party in Jackson, Wyoming. Food horses and wagons furnished.
This is a great family trip!
7. North Carolina Roanoke River Fishing Trip for two (2) people for first week
of May 2008. This is ½ day trip, fully guided with all equipment furnished
by Captain Dean Richards, East Coast Anglers.
8. Combo Bird Hunt on Anderson Creek Preserve in Lillington North Carolina.
Does not include lodging, but is available in the area.
9. Wyoming Eastern Mule Deer – Antelope Combo 5 day Hunt in Gillette Wyoming,
for fall 2008. Fully guided with transportation furnished from Gillette Airport
and during hunt by outfitter. Food and lodging not furnished, but arranged by
outfitter.
10. Quail Hunt at George Hi Plantation south of Clinton, North Carolina for
2008 season. This is for two (2) hunts with two (2) hunters each.
11. Whitetail Illinois Bow Hunt for one (1) hunter for 2009 season. More details
later.
