The Charlotte/Metrolina Chapter extends special thanks to the Bass Pro Shop in Concord, NC for the special assistance they provided in making this banquet possible. Visit their store for a remarkable shopping experience or visit them on-line at:

Bass Pro Shops manager David McDonnell and Speedway Club Special Events Co-ordinator, Wanda Miller prepare for an exciting evening. David is a regular member of our chapter and a tireless supporter of the RMEF. Wanda and her group helped us put together a fantastic banquet.

The evening started with special guest Mike Minter, stong safety for the Carolina Panthers, offering grace and a few words of inspiration.

As you would expect we had some help from other chapters in North Carolina. Asheville is always on hand to offer support and advice where needed. Greensboro and Boone also had some committee members on hand to help where needed.

TIM.JPG Tim Queen, the North Carolina State Volunteer Chair, and his wife, Beth, came ready to have fun and to help out.

Say hello to Tom Jones the SE Regional Director. Tom always mans the table for sponsor and life members.

FAMILY.JPG

There's something for everyone at a Big Game Banquet. Here a family gets involved with the Wingspan Raffle. The idea here is to find someone with very long arms to pull the tickets for you. It looks like they did OK.

All-in-all, we had a great crowd. We had lots of fun. We conserved some serious habitat.
THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO ATTENDED!!

Pictures of the banquet were taken by Tony Distefano.
